Detailed Selectivity Reports
Here at Barbour, we fully understand that our customers cannot afford any downtime due to electrical system problems.
Downtime negatively impacts our customers reputation and potentially has a large impact, not only in incurred costs but also their industry reputation.
Electrical protective design, the choice of devices, contributes directly to ensuring power and availability ensuring they operate in conjunction with other devices in an electrical system.
In summary, if a fault occurs in a circuit, only the protective device nearest the fault should trip. If selectivity is not correct, further devices immediately upstream will also trip, resulting in multiple circuits and equipment also being lost.
We offer detailed Selectivity Reports to ensure any upstream cascading of protective equipment is prevented.
