The Barbour Consulting generator team mobilised to one of the furthest points in Wales this week to install a new 100kVA Generator. Alongside the generator a new green GRP enclosure was installed, that houses a new Barbour in-house designed and built Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) with remote Ethernet monitoring of the Generator and its status.

The Barbour Project Management team working in collaboration with the local DNO supplier also arranged a new 250-amp TP&N supply and connection to be made on the day. From the GRP enclosure, the final distribution was installed via a new underground ductwork system to the new Comms Room that we also designed and built.

Our commitment to excellence extends beyond installation. We provide a 4-hour reactive response to this site, ensuring that any issues are promptly addressed. This is particularly crucial as the site is a national fibre in-line amplifier (ILA) location, vital for maintaining uninterrupted communication networks.

Another happy customer, the project was delivered on time, within budget and right the first time.

For all your generator and power needs, trust Barbour to deliver solutions that meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
